Game developers are not necessarily gamers, while expert and passionate gamers have a different way of looking at the games. It has been proven in many game forums that gamers can really find the serious bugs in games, which could destroy the reputation and profitability of the company.
Thus, there are legitimate offers for games tester jobs. However, applicants need to be very careful in choosing the real ones and avoiding the scams.
